Negotiation is the process used to achieve agreements and understanding between one or more parties.

The question we ask is not if, but when, we would need to negotiate. It is an unavoidable human communication phenomena.The process remains the same whether we are negotiating for the best place to eat or a multi-million dollar contract. However, the success of the negotiator will vary depending on knowledge and skill. After all, how often do we get what we want?

Beginners of this module will learn the principles of negotiation and specific methods to parley from interest rather than position. Participants will also be taught stop-loss strategies and how to always gain the upper hand in any discussion or agreement.  

​

Advanced skills will include verbal and non-verbal tactics that can, and will, change the rate of success of any negotiation.
